Kristinehamn Folk High School has a dormitory located directly adjacent to the school.

Boarding

The boarding package includes room rent 7 days a week and breakfast and lunch 5 days a week.

Accommodation Costs

(The cost includes mandatory meals)

• Small single room: 4,361 SEK/month
• Standard room: 4,822 SEK/month
• Accessible room with private toilet/shower: 5,050 SEK/month

No meal costs are charged during the autumn break, Christmas break, winter sports break, or Easter break.

The fee is paid monthly. Meal deductions are made for scheduled absences of at least one week.

Rooms

The dormitory has 26 single rooms with shared showers and toilets in the corridor, as well as a shared kitchen. In addition, there are two accessible rooms with their own shower and toilet.
The rooms are furnished with a bed including a mattress, a desk and chair, a bookshelf, and a desk and bedside lamp. Each room also includes a chest of drawers and wardrobe space. Most rooms have a washbasin, and shared toilet and shower facilities are located in the corridor.

All school facilities are smoke-free. Pets are not allowed indoors.

You are responsible for bringing your own duvet and pillow, bed linens, towels, bedspread, and any other textiles you want for your room. Kitchenware for shared use is available.

Insurance

Your annual service fee as a course participant includes accident insurance. This applies full-time for those living in the dormitory. For others, it is valid during school hours.

If you live in the dormitory, you must also complement this with your own home insurance.

Common Areas

In the three common rooms, you can watch TV and movies, eat, play games, and more. You can connect your own computer to our wireless internet. Wired internet access is also available in each room.
